Our six podium finishers enjoyed delicious hot chocolate and Belgian waffles with the Head, Mrs Helen Hier, as a reward for their super efforts at the last cross-country event at Bryntirion.

Great conditions for running and another wonderful St Clare’s turn-out with brilliant team scores. We had some excellent results, with many of the children competing in their first event.  Congratulations to Dan and Eloise who managed podium 3rd place finishes.

In the Year 3 & 4 boys’ race, Oliver B finished  10th, Teddy H was 27th, James L was 32nd and Alastair O finished in 53rd. This gave us an overall score of 69, meaning we finished the 3 & 4 boys’ event in 7th place.

Good luck to everyone competing at Brynteg this Saturday!

NB: There was a choice of options to suit pupils who have allergies or dietary requirements and the option of hot plain or soya milk. In line with nutritional guidance we have opted for a healthier chocolate drink with no added sugar.
