Friends of St. Clares

St. Clare’s is very much a family school and we have a thriving PTA that supports us all the way and provides many opportunities for fun and friendship.

Last year the Friends of St Clare’s raised funds to purchase eco-friendly outdoor seating area with large umbrellas for pupils in both Prep and Senior Schools to use during breaks.

The next meeting of the Friends will be held at 2:45pm on Friday, 26th January to plan for 2018.

At the end of May the Friends held a Teddy Bears Picnic on our beautiful lawns for all Nursery and Prep School pupils.  A picnic was provided by our caterers Thomas Franks and there were stalls and entertainment for all of the children to enjoy.

At the end of October, we held an Art Exhibition for Nursery to Year 7 pupils. The children’s artwork was professionally mounted, framed and catalogued by Penarth company ImagesArt and was displayed on special boards, allowing parents to stroll around our real ‘art gallery’ in the Prep School Hall whilst enjoying a complimentary glass of Prosecco.

Our Christmas Fayre was held during the school day on the last day of term with Santa’s Grotto and games and stalls for everyone to enjoy.

As you can see, these Friends’ activities are all being organised to add to the educational experience and enjoyment of our children. If you have any ideas or would like to offer your help in any way we would be delighted to hear from you.

We are also in the planning stages for a Summer Ball for 2018.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Kind regards,

The Friends of St Clare’s
