Mad Hatter’s Tea Party
“This afternoon my sister and I attended the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at St. Clare’s School in Newton near Porthcawl. It was organised by the Year 7 pupils, to give something back to the community. In doing so, they learned how to organise an event, raise money and communicate with people. The food was lovely, sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes and scones. We were beautifully entertained with singing, one young lady in particular should end up on the West End stage. I cannot compliment the children and school enough, it was a delightful afternoon.
Thank you all so much. You should be very proud of yourselves.”
