    St. Clare's celebrate GCSE achievements

    Pupils at St. Clare’s School in Porthcawl are celebrating excellent GCSE results today, having significantly outperformed their peers nationally. A staggering 95.6% of grades achieved were 4+ (A*-C) while 51.3% of grades awarded were 7+ (A*/A), compared to 61.6% and 18.5% respectively across Wales.     Year 10 students have completed their Unit 3 English Language GCSE.  The exam was completed over the last 2 days and filmed for the exam board Eduqas.
