St Clare's Nursery: Boys & Girls aged 2 ½ - 4
| As of January 2012, our Nursery opening hours have been extended to 8am - 4pm, Mon-Fri. On top of this, we offer wraparound care via our 'Time Out' after school club until 6pm. Please speak to the Nursery staff for more information. |
Our well-established Nursery is housed in a self-contained, purpose-built unit, and offers outstanding levels of care in a safe, stimulating and creative environment. Children are cared for by a dedicated and well-qualified team of experienced Early Years professionals. Our last Estyn report (2008) listed St Clare’s Nursery as Grades 1 and 2: Good to Outstanding.

A large, secure outdoor play area provides play facilities to help children develop physical skills, whilst we help them build their cognitive and social skills with a topic-based Learning Programme which includes a variety of academic, music, dance and art activities. Healthy eating is encouraged, as children stop for fruit snacks during the day.

The Nursery runs from 8am - 4pm, at which point our pupils are able to join the Time Out after-school club, which provides a light snack and fun activities until 6pm.
