All Wales School Core Programme Quiz

On Friday November 18^th five of our Year 8 pupils took part in the annual All Wales School Core Programme Quiz organised by South Wales Police. The venue this year was Porthcawl Pavilion. We competed against seven local schools and after six rounds we were pipped at the post by the winning school who beat us by one point.

Our  runner-up team  members this year were Siobhan Lock, Carla Prinsloo, Nathan  Dudley, Tom Cogbill and Morgan Holt. The team spent many hours - in lunchtimes and at home - learning six booklets on Drugs, Internet Safety, Highway code etc. A great effort made by all who showed such excellent team spirit.
