At St. Clare’s School we understand that choosing a School for your child is a big decision. The basic admissions process is detailed below. While this covers the key points in the process, it can be adapted to suit you should you wish to meet with the Head more than once, have a repeat visit to the School etc.
We will do all we can to answer your questions in good time, and ensure a smooth transition into the School.
1 Parental Enquiry - via telephone to our Registrar, Sarah Jacobs on 01656 789966, by email or web enquiry.
2 A Prospectus and Registration Form will be posted to you immediately.
3 Please contact us to arrange a visit and meeting with the Headteacher, Mr Antwis. Please bring a copy of your child’s last School Report to this meeting.
4 Parents return the Registration Form and £50 (non-refundable) fee. The Registration Form is not a contractual document.
5 The School will arrange a Taster Day for your son(s) and/or daughter(s).
6 Letter of Offer is sent out to you, offering the pupil a place at St. Clare’s. This is accompanied by the Acceptance Form, requiring a £500 deposit (returnable when the pupil leaves the school) and the Terms & Conditions of the Contract.
7 Return of the signed Acceptance Form and the £500 deposit to the Registrar, within 14 days of the date of the Letter of Offer.
8 Welcome Letter sent to parents.
